Attention to detail not as excessive because the hotel guarantees. No mirror or plug level in appropriate place . Problems of laundry resulted in towels not changed and room not cleaned for a day . Decoration in main resort rooms requiring immediate attention.
We didn’t eat in the restaurant so I can’t comment on this. There are areas of the resort thay are a wee bit drained for positive but the workers and the meals maintain it at 5 star levels. Beautiful location, your own island to discover. We loved this place and would travel to Scotland once more simply to remain here. We enjoyed the restaurant, the croquet pitch, excessive tea, the indoor swimming pool, free mountain bikes and the cottage. We completely enjoy our stay on the scenic Isle of Erika and extremely suggest this resort. The roads resulting in the resort and the hilltop lodging have been very poor.

Stayed in hilltop room – very snug, nice view, sizzling tub. The meals was usually very good, with a few of it being wonderful. Great location, offering beautiful walks around the island and with lots to do within the vicinity. The food in the lodge was amazing and so tasty and value it. The staff though eager to please weren’t as professional. Everything was great apart from the price of drinks. Significantly overestimated – my only criticism for an otherwise perfect three nights. I was especially aggravated that they don’t have any vegetarian choices at breakfast, regardless of having a vegetarian dinner menu. The only thing was the swimming pool space which badly needs a refurb.
